3,417 Dog Tags Arrive at Edison Plaza

This Monday, Sept. 16th at 10:00 am, 3,417 Dog Tags representing the 3,417 Texas combat veterans who lost their lives in Vietnam arrived at Edison Plaza.

As customary with any remains, the Patriot Guard Riders from Houston escorted the truck carrying the Texas Vietnam Heroes Exhibit to Winnie, where the Golden Triangle Patriot Guard Riders, Vietnam Veteran motorcyclists, Veteran motorcyclists, The Jeeper Club and others then escorted the exhibit into Beaumont.

Below are scheduled events for the week.

Monday, Sept. 16, 10:00 am – Exhibit Arrival (ETA 10:00 am) and Acceptance Ceremony (10:30 am)

Tuesday, Sept. 17, 5:30 pm – Private Reception and Blessing of the Exhibit (Sponsors, Civic Leaders, Vietnam Veterans and Media)

Wednesday, Sept. 18, 10:00 am – Opening Ceremony

All events will be held at Edison Plaza.
